
Noise Pollution Awareness Workshop Conducted at Samata Vidyalaya in Uruli Devachi, Pune
A Noise Pollution Awareness Workshop was successfully organized at Samata Vidyalaya, Uruli Devachi, run by Sane Guruji Shikshan Sanstha, on 10 January 2026 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
The program was conducted by Nisarg Srishti Welfare Foundation with the objective of creating awareness about noise pollution among students.
The programme began with an introductory address by Mr. Rajendra Kulkarni, Manager of Nisarg Srishti Welfare Foundation, who highlighted the organization's work in environmental conservation and explained the harmful effects of noise pollution on health and society. He also introduced Dr. Garima Kavathekar, Founder and Director of the Foundation, and appealed for support and participation in the NGO’s future initiatives.

Our Story
The Foundation's dedication to environmental advocacy further manifested through a dynamic competition addressing the pressing issue of noise pollution. Over 100 enthusiastic students enthusiastically participated, showcasing their creativity and concern for the environment. The competition served as a platform for young minds to express their perspectives on noise pollution and propose innovative solutions. Acknowledging their commendable efforts, the Foundation awarded first, second, and third prizes, accompanied by thoughtful gifts and certificates, to deserving winners. This recognition not only celebrates their achievements but also serves as an encouragement to continue their endeavors in championing environmental stewardship.
